Save Report Dates

I am using gnucash-2.2.2 running on Windows 7.   I have created a couple of custom reports and they work fine except I would like them to remember the last dates that I put in instead of the original date when I created the report.  Is there any way to save the last dates entered?  I am still new to gnucash so please be specific in your answers.
