Date Widget Not Working (was: Gnucash menubar)

David, thank you for your welcome and I apologize for hijacking. Learn
new things every day. I use GnuCash for a couple of months now and I
really like it. I have 2.4.2. which came with Natty.
Geert, thank you for your advice. I have changed it from "locale" to the
"Europe" which is in same format dd.mm.yyyy and it works!
