Windows 7 blank reports

Perhaps there was some software you had installed before you restored the 
backup, but you did not reinstall after you restored the backup ? Software 
that may have interfered with GnuCash.

That's unfortunate, but thanks anyway for the detailed explanation. I guess we 
will have to look further to really find the cause.
