I never tried to do BOA credit card charges directly into GnuCash. I
open secure online account access via Firefox(my preferred browser) and
download and save locally the previous month's activity in Quicken (QFX)
format. Then I use the GnuCash ofx importer to bring the transactions
into GnuCash. If I recall, BOA does not have a way to download
transactions after the last statement date, which is a bummer. I enter
significant transactions manually from my receipts or via scheduled
transactions.

I would love to hear if someone has found a better way.
