My recurring problem is corrupting the date on one entry and then
having to sort everything to find it and correct it. I'm not sure that
an "are you sure" pop-up is the answer. When I was writing interactive
programs about thirty years ago, some had this device but users then
developed the double-click method to skip quickly through it. They then
complained that what they needed was another check which said "are you
really sure?"

All I need on this system is an undo feature so that you can quickly
correct a mistake in seconds instead of taking ages over it.
