managing term deposits

Hi,
This question can be OT. Please excuse for it. I have some term deposits
(fixed rate deposits) with various banks. Till now I was using ooffice
to manage them. I had columns like,
Bankname,depositdate,amt,maturitydate,amt,interestrate,cert.no.,comments

Can I manage it through GC? Or can someone suggest any alternative
solution on GNU/Linux?
