separating data files from backup files

i know. i feel the same way about myself. all i did was dragging the
datafiles into a new folder.

anyway, since it's just a month's worth of data i just went ahead and
re-imported qif. now i am up to speed with 9/11 reconciled and month-to-date
transactions entered.

under File, at bottom there is a list of file names, whose data cannot be
found, below the current saved data file. at some point i'll look into how
to remove them. any advice?

now there is a long list of backup and log files, all dated 20111024....
i've set up log files to retain 100 days. now i have to keep telling myself
do not touch them. does it mean that after 100 days all log files except the
current ones will be automatically removed?

all save buttons are greyed out. am i ready to quit? thans.

respect
suk wah
