Replaced credit-card

Hi,

I'd like to ask what people with the transactions when a credit card has
been stolen, the bank issues a new card and then duplicates the transactions
in the new card.

Logically, I should be going into the old account for the old card and
adding reverse transactions. But I was wondering if people instead have a
balance transfer to the new card and ignore what the bank sends in the OFX
files and statements.
