File Imports

In my version (GNUCash 2.4.7) 

File->Import->CSV

Remove the header and footer from the input file. 

During the import, assign the right column to the appropriate heading (use
the pulldown menu to asign which column is date, transaction details and
deposit). If there are superfluos columns, ignore them (do not assign a
heading). Use correct date format. Follow the importer GUI.
