Your gnucash account file is the only one you really have to move.   The 
others (log files, backups, and so on) are optional.

But if you're installing Ubuntu alongside Windows (on the same machine), 
you can just mount the Windows drive and use the file without moving 
it.  That way if you are dual-booting or need to return to Windows, you 
can run Gnucash from either place, and it will operate on the same file 
in both places.
