GnuCash PostgreSQL support

I just upgraded to GnuCash 2.4.4 on Debian  with the intention of moving
to a PostgreSQL back-end.

According to the GnuCash guide
http://svn.gnucash.org/docs/guide/basics-files1.html, the Save dialog
should provide a selection of data formats. However, my drop-down only
offers sqllite and xml.

Has my GnuCash version not been compiled for PostgreSQL or are the
drivers missing from my installation?
