trouble with reconciling

	Since you're on a mac, I'd try command tab or option tab.  I think
one of those is the same as alt tab in Windows, but I don't remember which
one.  However, I don't know if the pop-under problem would exist on a mac,
so this may very well be fruitless.

thanks liz. alt tab did nothing. i know that screens are all over the place
-- for example the tips screen moves off screen but i can capture it if i
move the main screen off to the right. on my mac alt tab didn't do anything
except cause the calendar button near today's date and a new blank line on
the register to blink.

any other ideas? thanks.
