This is mostly correct. Indeed none of the main developers works natively on 
Windows. I am however not the only developer that works on the Windows stuff. 
At least John, Phill and Christian have contributed in that particular area as 
well (and some even more than I ever did).

On this issue of check printing itself: I don't indeed use the check printing 
functionality, but in the past I did have a look at the bug. It's easy to 
reproduce indeed for me as well, so that's not the developers problem.

As mentioned in another mail in this thread, a similar issue existed for 
reports at some point (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=591177) and 
was fixed. I tried the same fix for the checks once, but it didn't work, so 
apparently something else is still missing.

Unfortunately I have no idea what and haven't had time to look at this since.
