Low order zeroes?

I just noticed (in 2.4.10, Linux) that account balances of the form
$xxxxx.x0 or $xxxxx.00 are shown in the balance column without the
low-order zeroes. But in the credit and debit columns, low order
zeroes *are* shown. If there's a preference item for this, I haven't
found it (which doesn't mean it isn't there; it just means I haven't
found it :-). I would much prefer that the balance column be shown in
the same format as the credit and debit columns. It seems inconsistent
not to do so, and the way it is now, the commas don't line up.

If I've missed the way to fix this, someone set me straight please.
