Error when running payable aging report

What, if anything, is in your gnucash.trace file?

Ah..  We do not support GnuCash Portable.  That's another group that
takes our application and does "magic" to it.  Moreover, 2.4.11 is
current.

I can understand.  The gnucash.trace file might give you some guidance
about what's going on.
