Any plans for Mac OS 10.8?

Thanks very much for your help. My iMac already has 2.40 installed.I didn't know this. The problem with 2.411 is that it won't install over 2.40. I'm happy with 2.40 since it's now running fine. If I try to install the newer version directly over 2.40 I get into trouble. .It doesn't install. Sometimes I get the message that 2.411 is not the proper version for this computer; sometimes the computer locks up; sometimes I get a long error message that asks to be sent to Apple. Obviously I don't know how to upgrade this software but II think I can get along with 2.40 for quite a while. 

On my new MacBook Pro  2.411 is running fine. The key was to bypass the Gate Keeper and then the program launched without any problem. 

Thank you again for your help. I have't done anything with Terminal for years so I'm glad I didn't have to run a session in terminal to straighten this out.
