-.gnucash files

Hi!

I'm taking my problems one at a time. It will be more simple.

Here is one:

I use Gnucash most everyday. At the end of each session I make sure to save my changes.

Today the prompt I get is this:

"Save changes to file C:\Users\Alain\Documents\Gnu Cash backup\PERSO.20120112221031.gnucash.20120201103420.gnucash.20120915112953.gnucash before closing?"

- I don't know how I get such long file names (this has been going on for a long time)
- (MORE IMPORTANT) why is the file not named on the basis of TODAY's date?
