Thank you to all those who replied.

I am ok with whatever decision is made. But I would still like to put few points:

1) The problem here is when person does "Reply-all" (to my e-mail)
then mailing list auto-detects my email ID in To OR Cc, so mailing list
does not SEND message to me at all. (Assuming that I have received
the e-mail directly hence no need to send duplicate via list)

Since direct email does not have List-Id header, it does not get filtered.

However if subject tag was added then my original e-mail would have
had that tag so even reply e-mail would have that tag in subject.

2) I use Yahoo Mail. Yahoo mail does not allow filtering by "List-id" header.

It seems it supports filtering by Recipient. But somehow it does not work.
I tried with "gnucash-user at gnucash.org" OR just "gnucash.org"

I suppose Yahoo filters only by actual recipient (i.e. in my case my id)

Also,  if person hit just "Reply" (to my e-mail) instead of "Reply-all" then
again it would not get filtered.

Again if subject tag was there, it would filter properly.

3) I would still like to re-iterate that majority of mailing lists use Subject tagging.
So in my opinion, it is the most preferred way or standard practice.

If I am not wrong, it is the default option for GNU mailman for any new mailing list
that you create or setup. Which indirectly means that is the option most
mailman administrators prefer.

4) Subject tag is also intuitive way for normal user for filtering e-mail.
Normal user (an accountant) would never have any idea about "List Id" header.

Assuming that accountant to be tech savvy to be able to filter based on headers,
is bit odd to me.

Although I heavily vouch for subject tagging, but I am ok with no tagging as well.

This was just a suggestion.

Thanks again and regards,

Amm.
