Can Gnucash connect with the banks in China?

You'll have to find out what interchange protocol they use. If it's OFXDirect or HCBI, then Gnucash may be able to
communicate with them via AQBanking, though it won't have any Chinese banks in the connection database and you'll have 
to set up everything manually.
