how to sell stock using split transaction

Hello,

I am rather new to GnuCash and I have trouble with the way it deals with
stocks...
I managed to buy shares using a split transaction, but no matter how I do
cannot perform the "Selling Stock using Split Transaction Scheme".
In fact I am not sure what data I should enter where in the split
transaction.
I checked the GnuCash guide (
http://gnucash.org/docs/v2.4/C/gnucash-guide/invest-sell1.html) and some
mailing list archive (
http://gnucash.1415818.n4.nabble.com/Selling-stock-td4513629.html),
though...

Now let's imagine I bought 100 shares of AMZN for $20 per share, and sold
for $36 with a commission of $75.
Would someone be so kind as to give me a step-by-step procedure on how to
record this in the AMZN stock account using a split transaction ?
(I do mean step-by-step, e.g. click there and enter such value, then press
Tab to create a new line, etc.)

Thank you in advance.
Best Regards.
Francis
