GC does not offer cloud services.  You *can* use it with a cloud
storage service like Dropbox the same way you can store any data file
on the cloud.  It doesn't handle multiple simultaneous access (it uses
a lock file to prevent simultaneous openings but you can choose to
override the warning at your own risk.  It won't merge changes made in
two different instances and most likely you'd lose the work done on
all but the last machine to save the data.)

Yes, it can access the internet to download stock quotes and exchange
rates, and I think some support for connecting directly to online
banking sites, described here:
