cash flow report not showing credit card transactions in expense accounts

Did you include your credit card in the list of accounts included in the
report?  Most likely not, because you're probably using the wrong report. 
More likely you want the Profit & Loss or Income Statement report (same
report, two names), which sums up your Income and Expenses regardless of
where it comes from.  Cash Flow, however, is more about saying where you
money goes to (and comes from) for a set of accounts.
