Modify standard parameters in Invoice

How are you opening the custom report subsequently?  When you update a
report in the report options and then Add it as a custom report then
when you rerun the custom report your changes should be in there.  Note,
however, that a custom Invoice report will *NOT* be run by clicking the
'print' button from an invoice.  Instead you need to run it from the
saved reports list, open the report options, and then select your new
invoice.

Another option is to just not close the report tab.  Keep it open, and
then when you want to print a new invoice just go into the report
options for the existing report and select your newly posted invoice.
