Paul--

As far as I understand, AqBanking doesn't handle investment accounts. See:

Subject: Problem downloading transactions into GnuCash using AqBanking.

Greetings to all,

I am trying to download investment transactions from my investment broker,
Vanguard Group, from within GnuCash using Aqbanking. The message "The
Online Banking import returned no transactions for the selected time
period" is shown, even when there are new transactions to be downloaded. I
have attempted to figure out the problem (although I am not a programmer)
and have deduced that AqBanking ignores the information that I wish to
import, namely my recent investment transactions. The transactions can be
seen in the ofx.log file below.

Looking at the "gnucash.trace" file I see the following lines:

WARN <aqbanking> g_invtranlist.c:  119: Ignoring group [REINVEST]
WARN <aqbanking> g_invpos.c:  124: Ignoring group [MEMO]

The transaction information that I wish to import is located between the
[REINVEST] tags in the OFX files. I believe my problem would be solved if
the invtranlist.c script could be modified to recognize the [REINVEST] tag.
I am not familiar with the programming language.

The referenced ofx.log and gnucash.trace files are attached.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you very much.

GnuCash 2.4.11
AqBanking 5.0.25
Gwenhywfar 4.3.3
