Always Online?

Thank you both for your quick answers. I would like to stop GnuCash from going
online each time I open it. If you find the reference for how to do that, I would
appreciate your posting it.
As for Q3, it's not a question, just a statement of why I'm so fussy about not
wanting GnuCash to go online.
