Gnucash adding extra numbers onto multiple currency transactions

Remind me what version of GnuCash you're using and on what operating 
system.

I gather that you have been using Finance-Quote to fetch currency 
exchange rates from the net and this is what seems to be causing your 
problem.  I don't know what's going on, but there must be something 
different between your setup and mine.  I've been fetching currency 
exchange rates daily for years and haven't had any problems like this.
