Invoices cannot be opened anymore

This is irrelevant for searching Invoices.  You are thinking only about
searching for transactions.  It uses a similar interface but the method
is completely different and where you start from is irrelevant.  The O-P
is asking about Business -> Customer -> Find Invoice.
