GNUCash 2.4.13 crash on startup

When you said you uninstalled your gnome settings, did you also
uninstall your .gnucash settings?  If not, try relocating your
.gnucash\books folder or renaming the .gcm file with the same name as
your data file.  I think that file follows your data file if you move
it.  There has been an issue with crashing after returning to a 2.4
release of gnucash after trying a 2.5 release.  It was supposed to be
fixed in release 2.5.5, but you may have found another exception.

I am using Gnucash 2.4.13 daily in W7 64 bit and often trying unstable
releases, but never on the same data file.  I have not seen that
particular crash in my system.
