Trouble removing child account and transfering transactions to parents...

Hi everyone,

The trouble I'm having at the moment is this :
I had a "budgeted" child account where transactions to actual expense
accounts were entered.
I now want to remove this structure.
I tried to delete the budgeted account, but it won't show the parent account
as one of the locations for the transactions to be moved to.
I thought transactions/splits between the accounts may be the trouble, so I
have removed all of them.
Is there another type of transaction between 2 accounts that prevents
GNUCash from moving the transactions to that account on delete?

I've also tried creating another account, moving first the child account
transactions to that, then trying to move the parent transactions... seems
GNUCash is still not showing the new account with the child account
transactions in it...
