Update+Reconcile in OFX import

But if you don't want the description to be updated, why don't you use R
instead of U+R ?

I'm not

I mean't transaction number, the column between Date and Description
(sorry, I don't use an english version of GnuCash).

I use gnucash 2.6 on GNU/Linux, but I don't think it relevant. Of course
if I don't pre-enter the transactions, import from OFX will be fine. But
I don't understand what the point of U+R is if it doesn't update the
transaction...
