Adding total in the Accounts dashboard

Is there any way to select and add the total of, say 2 or 3 accounts in the
dashboard? E.g. I have $500 in a checking account and $1,000 in a savings
account and if I select these two accounts, GnuCash would tell me the total
is $1500.
