Version 2.6.3 won't save when there are open Reports

Don't know if relevant but I noticed in 2.6.1 that python-gnucash is not 
installed but is in 2.6.3.

I tried uninstalling python-gnucash which also installed gnucash 2.6.3.  
I then tried installing just gnucash but it would not without installing 
python-gnucash.

Both are again reinstalled and the problem remains.

Could it be a problem with some preference/config files somewhere?
