Autofill problem? - I assume

If you originally subscribed at http://www.gnucash.org/ you should be able
to unsubscribe at https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user
as you have apparently attempted.  If you subscribed instead via the Nabble
web archive you may have to go to
http://gnucash.1415818.n4.nabble.com/mailing_list/MailingListOptions.jtp?forum=1415819
and turn off mail delivery and then unsubscribe ???
