Any sign of payroll yet?

That's why Quickbooks and Peachtree charge $200.00+ every year for their
payroll modules. I knew the "workaround" with Peachtree, when I used
Peachtree. I went to the IRS web site every year, printed out the tax
rate table percentages and put the values in the tables of Peachtree
myself and saved the $200.00+ every year. Note that separate tables had
to be used for single and married. Then I did the same for the state
department of revenue. How I do the payroll now using GnuCash is, I set
up all the accounts and subaccounts I need in GnuCash: Expense and
Liability. I then use LibreOffice's Calc (spreadsheet) for the actual
calculations and record keeping. Using the record keeping with LO is a
good double check with GC. I've been doing this for years and is a lot
more accurate than what PT or QB has to offer.
