Any sign of payroll yet?

Yeah, the payroll hack I’ve written is a) specific to the rules for our special case, and b)  command line interface - so it wouldn’t be very widely applicable.   Once I’ve had it through another couple of cycles I’ll be willing to release it, but don’t know how many folks would find it useful.
