As you suggest, I do have the Perl script gnc-fq-check in my
C:\Programs\GnuCash\bin directory and I do have to move to that directory to
run it.  It confirms FQ version 1.20.

gnc-fq-check is part of the gnucash program. You will find it in
c:\Program Files (x86)\bin

It should not have the .bat extension as it's a perl script.

You would run it as perl gnc-fq-check
