Quotes

BTW for other users:

Finance::Quote 1.20 requires Perl 5.10 or later to work. 5.8 is _not_
supported! Don't even try, it won't work.

Basically, if you have Perl 5.10 or later qlready installed, you
shouldn't need to upgrade Perl. Just run "cpan install Finance::Quote"
which should install version 1.20 of F::Q. If you still have issues, it
is most probably due to having multiple versions of Perl and/or F::Q
installed and GnuCash using the wrong one. Removing older Perl versions
and F::Q might help but is not a guarantee that quote retrieval from
Gnucash will work yet. Therefor Gnucash must be told where the correct
binary of Perl and F::Q 1.20 is located. That doesn't mean you need to
reinstall Gnucash, but you should check how to tell Gnucash where the
correct files are located.

Besides isntalling from cpan, Activestate provides some pre-compiled
packages which are '.ppm' files. As of today Activestate still provides
F::Q 1.18 or 1.19 depending of your installed Perl version. Activestate
didn't package F::Q 1.20 yet. Once this is available you'll be able to
get 1.20 when installing Activestate Perl and using ppm. Until then you
_have_ to manually install 1.20 from cpan as mentioned above after
installing Perl.

Look here for current Activestate provided packages depending of the
installed Perl version

That's it for now :)
