Current balance is scheduled transaction

It would be great to be able to refer to the current balance of an
account in the scheduled transactions. I could change my mortgage
payment to:
payment = pmt(0.03875 / 12.00 : 360.00 : loan_total : 0 : 0)
interest = ipmt(0.03875 / 12.00 : 1 : 360.00-i+1: balance : 0 : 0)
principal = payment - interest

And I believe this would take into account any additional payments I made.
