Migration to GnuCash 2.6 from 2.4 problem with display of currency

Hi,

I noticed this aswell when upgrading from 2.4 to 2.6. My default currency
is British pounds (GBP) and I also use Thai Baht and Euros. In 2.4, GNUcash
displays £ for GBP, THB for baht and EUR for euros, which I'm quite happy
with. There were some other more quirky, visual aspects of the 2.6 user
interface (colours, fonts, font sizes, etc) which made the whole program
seem unfamiliar, so I re-installed 2.4.14 instead and everything looked
familiar again. Also, 2.6 seemed to run more slowly taking a long time to
load each file (I manage three seperate account files and often switch
between each of them).

Is it possible to have the extra features of 2.6 with the looks and speed
of 2.4?

Adam
