split bills with taxable and nontaxable items

Actually, my problem is how to have several 'lines' on a new bill, so that I
can select for each of them whether they are taxable or not. I know how to
'split' an expense, but I cannot find how to 'split' a bill.

(I'm very novice, as you can see)
