gnu cash crashing

Hi Edward.

A fresh install probably won't have cleared out your user meta data (prefs,
report definitions and so on). Can you create a new test user on the crashing
system and see how GC behaves for that user, with both a blank file and a copy
of your data file?

(I don't use windows, so can't suggest much more)

Maf.
