Hi David:

Thanks for your reply. I'm using Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

(Scott Roe - Ver 2.6.3 no split entry allowed).

Look forward to anyone jumping in with an answer if they have one. If not, will my data be corrupted is I roll back to older version I was using,

Thanks,

Scott Roe

> The problem is that Expenses has totals for just one of the high level accounts that is called Travel.? There are subaccounts under Travel.? I would like to see a total for all of the Expense accounts.? I checked the config of several other accounts and they are setup as account type expense.? Apparently I'm missing something.? The Income is zero even though I have some accounts setup as account type Income.

So I have a near complete & reasonably accurate view of my next 12 months cash inflows & outflows. When I install the beta build (ie: the master build listed above), all of the dates in the between April to October are shifted back one day. Clearly a daylight saving related bug.

Those are formal announced releases at the end of a development cycle, like the 2.5.x releases from last fall. The nightlies are snapshot builds of the development tree and are run purely to ensure that the tree builds; it might not even pass unit tests. There's no way to know that it won't clobber your data. That's especially true in this development cycle where we're making some pretty major changes to GnuCash's internals.
