Need help for simple cash flow entries and simple ledger printout

Sorry, GnuCash is at its heart a double-entry system.  HOWEVER, that
doesn't mean you need to *use* the full power of double entry.  Still,
if you want a cash flow report you are, by definition, doing double
entry because every transaction has a source (e.g. your Bank) and
destination (e.g. Groceries, or some other Expense).

I highly recommend you take a few hours to read the GnuCash Tutorial and
Guide at http://www.gnucash.org/ (click on the documentation link).
