John,

Thank you. I am using Windows 7.

I obtained the same result on two different computers, a desktop running Windows 7
Professional 64-bit and a laptop running Windows 7 Home 32-bit.

In case this information is of any help in diagnosing the problem, I have GnuCash 2.6.2
installed on both of those machines. Though no expert either in information technology
or finance, I have been able to use GnuCash both happily and successfully for several
years. In the past any reports I have produced with GnuCash have displayed the Roman
alphabet. All of which amounts to saying that I am utterly puzzled by this anomaly and
will appreciate any advice this group may have to offer, but in all honesty I doubt that I
will be able to learn Cyrillic in time to prepare and file my tax returns. Perhaps someone
can suggest another avenue that I may follow.

Best wishes,

Jules

Cold.

Jules,

What OS are you using?
