Cannot edit accounts

I do not understand your description of your problem.  Perhaps it is partly
because I have not seen Windows 10 yet.

Mainly, what do you mean by task bar.  Is that the Windows Task Bar?  if
so, then the Edit Account pop-up must be appearing underneath the GnuCash
main window.  Try grabbing the title bar and moving the main window around
to see if the other window is underneath.  If that is true, the developers
would be interested in knowing about that.
