print off bank statement and general ledger; was: gnucash

1. Open the relevant account by double-clicking on its name in the Accounts tab.
2. Right-click somewhere in the register of transactions for that account that comes up.
3. Choose the “Filter By” option.
4. Select the range of dates you’re interested in.
5. Reports =>Transaction Reports
6. Edit => Report Options to adjust what you see.

You can use the same method for each individual income and expense account (open each one in turn, and go through 2-3 above), or you can click on the Accounts tab, and use Reports => Transaction Report. This produces a blank report, but you’ll see “Edit report options” in blue. Click this, and select the accounts you wish to report.
