The "Android" and "Desktop" versions as you quaintly name them are not 
versions of the same thing at all.  Both apps make that clear.

I'm sorry, folks, but I couldn't resist pointing out that a man that is 
advocating photosharing and wants to use Android to Desktop mistrusts 
Dropbox.
