NB: The source drop-down is below the checkbox which enables online price retrieval. The Type field has nothing to do with price retrieval. FWIW, using Yahoo is the most reliable for stocks listed on the major US exchanges.

I am using a MacBook Pro, Intel, running OS X Yosemite (10.10.3).

I am also having the same problem and followed the the same "fix" posted earlier with the same result as Bruno.

/Applications/Gnucash.app/Contents/Resources/bin/gnc-fq-dump yahoo AAPL
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:
     symbol: AAPL                 <=== required
       date: 06/22/2015           <=== required
   currency: USD                  <=== required
       last: 127.61               <=\
        nav:                      <=== one of these
      price: 127.61               <=/
   timezone:                      <=== optional

My Price Editor is displaying the same error message when trying to retrieve prices.

Price Editor was working on a similar MacBook Pro, Intel, running OS X Maverick (10.9.5).
