For example, you wake up this morning, and realise that you didn’t enter a transaction from yesterday evening - you were out on a first date, and felt it might not go down well if you whipped out your Android device and recorded the cost of the dinner.

So you enter the transaction at (say) 9am.

This transaction will be dated yesterday, but timed at 9am, and will apparently have occurred before other transactions which were recorded yesterday.

Considering my answer above, would you like to reconsider that suggestion.

Time will tell!

Is there any commercially-available software that provides the features you require?

Remember that this mailing list exists to support members in their use of Gnucash - in many cases users who ask “Why can’t I do this using Gnucash” find that another member has resolved the issue.

Also remember that any suggested new development must take its place in the queue for developer time.

Your English is OK, but I hope you won’t be hurt if I suggest that your use of language to explain what you wish to achieve is imperfect.
