Custom reports: How to add?

Hi,

I think the solution there is not to be recommended. That page suggests to
replace the standard report within the installation path of GnuCash.

GnuCash provides for a better way to do this, in a user specific folder. But
you also still have to tell GnuCash to load the file by changing/adding a
file in that folder - which I overlooked.

The official way of doing this in the .gnucash folder has several
advantages:
- The report is not lost after upgrade of GnuCash.
- No side effects for other users (I guess in some cases this can be seen as
a disadvantage).
- No additional rights needed to add report (installation path should
require higher rights).

Best,

YeOldHinnerk
